Game Mechanics and Support

The game uses a 4×4 board with printed labels 1 through 16 in row-major order. Before each round, you select 3, 4, or 5 hazards. The support is defined by uniform sampling of complete subsets where the product of selected printed labels has exactly two distinct prime factors.

Initial quoted value is 97% of captured stake. Each uncertain successful reveal divides the current gross value by its exact posterior safe probability. If probability is 1, the value remains unchanged. You may collect after at least one safe reveal, or continue with an eligible cell. Choices are disabled when gross return exceeds 1000× stake; equality is allowed. The game banks automatically only when no eligible uncertain choice remains.

Understanding the Return

The demo’s theoretical gross return is 97% of the stake under its supported stopping rules. This is a long-run expectation, not a chance of winning or a guaranteed session balance. Individual rounds can return zero. Gross returns include the stake; they are not net profit.

The board has 167 allowed layouts with 3 hazards, 209 with 4, and 176 with 5. The mechanics page explains how exact conditional probabilities price each eligible reveal.

Wallet and Persistence

Initial balance is 1000 play coins. Manual idle-only restoration sets the balance to exactly 1000 when idle and balance is below 10. Settled balance persists locally, including zero. An unfinished round ends without refund, payout, continuation, or resume upon reload. Captured stake remains deducted.

Controls after reload: Default stake is 20 and first preset is restored. During a round, stake, mode selectors, refill, and a second round remain locked until settlement. Collection follows the Mines rules described above.

Controls and Modes

Selectable stakes are 10, 20, 50, or 100 play coins, with 20 as the default. You choose 3, 4, or 5 hazards before the round. Settings, restoration, and starting another round are locked while a round is active.

Identity and Storage

This demo has no account login flow or payment flow. Virtual coins have no cash value. Virtual-coin balance and fractional payout carry are stored in browser localStorage. The page loads Google Fonts stylesheets and font files, and a Statinside counter script (counter 44). These requests can expose ordinary connection information to the services. Local wallet storage and the absence of a login do not establish anonymity or a complete account of server-side processing. Clearing cached files may leave local storage where that storage is actually used.

Audience and Responsibility

This guide and its virtual-coin demo have an 18+ intended audience. It is not a universal legal age or an implemented age gate. Responsible-use pages can describe optional pauses, a personal time/virtual-coin limit, and finding appropriate local qualified help. This does not promise account-level blocking or self-exclusion tools that the interface does not have.

Frequently asked questions

What is the exact scoring rule for Two Prime Product Mines?

The complete hazard layout is sampled uniformly from layouts whose printed-label product has exactly two distinct prime factors. Each safe reveal filters those layouts; the current gross value is divided by that cell’s exact conditional safe probability.

How does the wallet restore funds?

Restoration is manual and idle-only. It sets the balance to exactly 1000 when idle and the balance is below 10. It sets the balance to 1,000 after you press the restoration button; it never replenishes automatically.

What happens to an unfinished round on reload?

An unfinished round ends without refund, payout, continuation, or resume. The captured stake remains deducted. Settled balance persists locally, including zero.
