How to Play in the Browser
The demo is a self-contained web application. You can access it on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device with a supported modern browser by visiting the guide's URL. There is no need to download an app from an app store or sideload an APK file.
Wallet & Persistence: Your virtual balance is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. If you reload the page, your settled balance persists. However, if you leave a round unfinished and reload, that round ends without refund or continuation; captured stakes remain deducted.
Controls: Stake is set to a default of 20 play coins, with options for 10, 50, or 100. You cannot change settings or start a new round while a round is active. Stake and hazard selection, restoration, and a second round are locked until settlement. Eligible cell choices, collection after a safe reveal, and sound remain available.
Game Mechanics: Two Prime Product Mines
The game uses a 4×4 board with printed labels 1–16 in row-major order. Before each round, you select 3, 4, or 5 hazards. The support is a finite set of uniform subsets where the product of selected printed labels has exactly two distinct prime factors.
- Support Counts: 167 subsets for 3 hazards, 209 for 4 hazards, and 176 for 5 hazards.
- Pricing: Initial value is 97% of captured stake. Each safe reveal divides the CURRENT gross value by its exact posterior safe probability. A reveal with exact safe probability 1 leaves the value unchanged.
- Stopping Rules: You may collect after at least one safe reveal, or continue with an eligible cell. Individual choices are disabled if their gross return exceeds 1000× stake (equality is allowed). The system banks automatically only when no eligible uncertain choice remains.
Browser Use and App Identity
Open the demo on the home page in a modern browser. Buttons select the stake and hazard count before a round. During a round those settings and balance restoration are locked; the cell buttons, collection after a safe reveal, and sound control remain available.
A browser page does not establish an official app identity. This guide has not verified an outside T44 package, app-store listing, publisher, or download. It supplies no APK or sideloading instructions.
Wallet & Restoration Details
Initial Balance: 1000 virtual coins.
Restoration: A manual idle-only restoration sets the balance to exactly 1000. This is eligible only while idle and when the balance is below 10. It does not add coins automatically; it sets the balance.
Fractional Carry: Fractional payout carry persists in browser localStorage across settlement, refill, and reload. Refilling does not clear it.
Unfinished Rounds: If you reload during an active round, it ends without refund. The captured stake remains deducted. Controls reset to default stake (20) and first preset.
Privacy & Storage
Storage: Virtual-coin balance and fractional payout carry are stored in browser localStorage. Clearing cached files may leave local storage if not explicitly cleared.
Third Parties: The page loads Google Fonts stylesheets and font files, and a Statinside counter script (counter 44). These requests can expose ordinary connection information to the services. Local wallet storage and the absence of a login do not establish anonymity or a complete account of server-side processing.
Privacy Limits: The absence of account or payment controls in the demo does not prove that no personal data are processed elsewhere. This demo does not promise anonymity, no sale, no profiling, or encryption guarantees.
